We invite the applications from suitable candidates for the following openings at SEWA Bharat:-

Post: Project Co-ordinator for Special Task Force on Women Workers in Bihar.

The Project Co-ordinator would be appointed for 18 months and expected to deliver following:

Job Responsibilities.

  • To set up and coordinate the various study groups collecting information.
  • To coordinate with research institution, NGOs, Trade unions and other relevant organizations.
  • To coordinate with the Government.
  • To coordinate and make arrangements for field visits.
  • To report to the Project Director.

Experience

The candidate should have at least masters’ degree and have good writing skills. She should be based in Patna and willing to travel across the state. She should be able to coordinate with Government and research institutions.

Remuneration:

Salary would be negotiable but up to Rs 25,000/- per month based on qualification and experience.

Project Director

The position will lead a project on solid waste management in Katihar, Bihar. She has to be based in Patna, Bihar. This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation to achieve measurable impact. The Director will supervise program staff and lead program coordination, development and networking.

Qualifications required:

  • Degree in social work or related studies, preferably with master's degree
  • Ability to work independently and lead a large team
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, including budgeting, preference will be given to those with experience in waste management
  • Formal training and demonstrated experience in program evaluation
  • Proposal and report writing skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and managing teams. Good analytical skills
  • Travel within and outside the town. Travel to Katihar for two weeks every month.

Remuneration: Rs 50,000/month.

Fund Raising Manager:

  • The concerned person will be responsible for the task of fund raising for the organization.
  • Based on vision, mission, Programs, geography the Fund Raising Manager will be the primary person to develop database and maintain contact with various funding organizations, corporate, government organizations, individual funding and Generate project proposal for the same.
  • Develop various strategies of fund-raising and execute the same.
  • Develop capacity of SEWAs in fund raising through workshops, trainings and other inputs.

Qualifications required:

  • Experience: - 5 yrs. (Relevant field)
  • Educational Background: MSW / PG in Rural Development / M.A. in Social Science with experience in working with NGO / MBA.
  • Proposal, report writing skills and Budget understanding.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and Good analytical skills
  • Candidates with a proven and successful track record in individual, corporate and foundation fund raising will be given preference.

Remuneration: Rs 30,000/month/ negotiable depending upon the experience and qualification.
